Social Media Manager

We are looking for a multi-talented, brave and bright social media manager that will be responsible for the management and strategic implementation of social media activities for a variety of our clients.

You will have a proven track record of successfully delivering social media activity in a B2C environment. You will have a high-level proficiency on social media platforms with an in-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube (including paid campaigns) and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver marketing and communications campaigns. You will have a passion for social media and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest news and trends and sharing this with others. You will need to be team-focused, a logical thinker, a self-starter and quick learner with initiative, excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and have strong management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence through the delivery of a social media plan
  • Monitor, review and report on social media performance
  • Partner with the wider marketing team and business leaders to identify and develop opportunities for the use of social media
  • Help provide ongoing consultancy and best practice advice on the use of social media for our employees
  • Identify and create shareable content appropriate for social media
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our brands and industry
  • Monitor and respond/organise response to questions and comments received on our social media channels
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads
  • Experience working in social media/digital communications or marketing for at least five years
  • Proven track record of delivering social media campaigns, growing communities and engagement (including delivery of paid campaigns)
  • Experience working on B2C social media campaigns
  • Corporate brand marketing/communications experience
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with the ability to create engaging digital content and assets
  • The ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions/optimise campaigns
  • Agency and project management expertise
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to impact and influence

 

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’of social media management experience with community management responsibilities
  • Proficient in social media reporting tools e.g. BrandsEye, Sprout Social, Crimson Hexagon, and Social Bakers, etc.
  • Fluency with Google Docs, Google Calendar and Gmail essential. Experience with Keynote, Numbers or other spreadsheet programs
  • Design experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of the financial industry a bonus

Copywriter

We are looking to hire a copywriter with one to three years’ experience, having worked in an advertising agency. You will be working across channels for recognisable, blue-chip brands, covering everything from ATL, digital, BTL and a bit of experiential/activations thrown into the mix as well.

Digital Designer

We are looking to hire a digital designer to lead an important blue-chip brand in our CPT agency. You will be working across channels for recognisable, blue-chip brands, covering everything from ATL, digital, BTL and a bit of experiential/activations thrown into the mix as well.

  • A digital advertising portfolio, including design for across platforms (websites, social media, emailers, newsletters, etc.)
  • Preferably one to three years’ experience (in an advertising agency)
  • Strong understanding of design principles, specifically in the digital space
  • Broad understanding of internet related technologies and standards
  • Experience in using the Adobe Suite (proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is a must)
  • Strong conceptual skills
  • Desire to stay up to date with innovation and technical developments in the creative and digital media industries
  • Constant drive to question the status quo – strive for fresh new ideas
  • A borderless approach to problem solving.

We are looking for an experienced account manager to join our JHB Team

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Demonstrate a passion for creativity and ideas and seeks to grow his/her business portfolio through enviable creative solutions
  • Must have previous ATL, BTL and Digital experience in an agency environment
  • Two + years’ experience in the account management function (big agency experience is preferable)
  • Experienced in working with senior clients across multiple stakeholders
